Fried Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients:

3-4 potatoes
1/4 c. oil, approximately
1 onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, unsliced (sliced, canned mushrooms can be substituted, if need be)
1/4 c. hulled sunflower seeds
salt and pepper

Instruction:

Heat oil, add in potatoes which have been washed and thinly sliced. Cook for 10-15 min, then add in mushrooms, onions, garlic, and sunflower seeds. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook till done, uncover and brown. *This is a vegetarian dish I first tried at the Uptown Cafe in Bloomington, IN. Michael's fries were heavenly. This is the closest I could come to making them. It's been a family favorite for over 20 years.
