Broccoli Sausage Quiche Recipe

1 x Nine-inch pie shell unbaked
4 x Sausage links - (Brown-n-Serve brand) cut 1/2" slices
1/2 c. Fresh mushrooms sliced
2 x Large eggs beaten
1 can Condensed cream of broccoli soup - (10 3/4 ounce)
2 Tbsp. Dry chopped onions
1/8 tsp Pepper
1 pkt Frzn minced broccoli - (10 ounce) thawed, liquid removed
1 c. Shredded Swiss cheese


Line unbaked pie shell with a double thickness of foil. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 8 min; remove foil. Bake for 4 to 6 min more, or possibly till golden brown. Remove from oven; set aside. Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees. Meanwhile, in a large skillet cook sausage and mushrooms about 5 min, or possibly till sausage is brown; drain. In a medium bowl combine the Large eggs, soup, onion and pepper. Stir in the sausage mix, broccoli, and 3/4 c. of the cheese. Pour mix into the baked shell. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 40 to 45 min, or possibly till knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Let stand about 10 min. NOTES : Serve this winning meal-in-a-quiche with fresh fruit or possibly a tossed salad.
