(Almost) Salt-Free Seasoning

1 12 tablespoons steak spice
1 12 tablespoons mustard powder
1 12 tablespoons paprika
1 teaspoon dried marjoram (or oregano)
34 teaspoon dill seed
34 teaspoon coriander seed
34 teaspoon caraway seed
12 teaspoon ground sage
12 teaspoon ground rosemary
12 teaspoon ground thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder


Combine all the spices together and grind them until fine. Pour into a dry frying pan (no oil), and toast, over medium heat, about 5 minutes. Stir constantly but slowly (careful not to burn). Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
