Red Rice

2 cups Brown Rice
2 cups Water
1 pound Bulk Pork Sausage
2 whole Onions, Diced
3 stalks Celery, Diced
1 whole Green Pepper, Diced
1- 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
1/2 teaspoons Salt


Cook rice in water until tender, about 45 minutes. Meanwhile, brown the sausage. When its about halfway done, add the onions, celery and peppers. Cook until sausage is brown and veggies are softened. Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, and salt. Heat through. Serve immediately with any desired toppings (sour cream, hot sauce, etc. ).
