Eggless Ginger Crinkles

2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
12 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup butter
14 cup molasses
14 cup granulated sugar, extra


Stir the first 5 ingrendients together in a large bowl. Beat the wet ingredients in a seperate bowl. Mix the two together and stir well. Form into 1 inch balls (about the size of a large cherry). Roll in the granulated sugar and place 2 inches apart in an ungreased cookie tray. Bake at 375 oF (180oC) for 10-12 minutes.
