Sally's Pepper Steak Recipe

1 1/2 pound round steak
1/4 c. flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 c. oil
1 lg. green pepper
1 can tomatoes
1 3/4 c. water
1/2 c. minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce


Cut steak into strips. Combine flour, salt and pepper and coat meat. Brown meat. Drain tomatoes and set aside. Combine liquid, water, onion, garlic and add in to meat. Cover and simmer 1 1/4 hrs. Add in Worcestershire sauce and pepper strips. Cover and simmer 5 min. Thicken if necessary. Add in tomatoes and simmer 5 min. Serve over rice or possibly pasta.
