Genever en Fuego

1 1/2 ounces genever
3/4 ounce mezcal
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce honey syrup (2 teaspoons honey mixed with 1 teaspoon warm water)
Ice, plus 1 large ice cube for serving


In a cocktail shaker, combine the genever, mezcal, lemon juice, lime juice and honey syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well. Fine strain into a chilled double rocks glass over the large ice cube.
