Cod Stew With Tomatoes

2 lbs cod fish fillets
1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes, cut up
14 teaspoon marjoram
14 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon salt
14 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 celery ribs, chopped
14 cup parsley, chopped
4 slices toast


Pour olive oil into deep pan on medium heat. Add garlic & celery. Saute briefly. Add spices,tomatoes, and parsley. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Meanwhile, salt fillets lightly and place in well greased steamer. Steam over boiling water 10 minutes. Pour sauce over fish. Serve over toast points.
