Iz's Mustard Chili

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 medium onion
1 pound smoked ham hocks deboned and defatted
1 tablespoon molasses
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon cayenne based hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic pepper blend
1 cup mustard
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 can mixed pinto and northern beans (15oz)


Saute onion and ham hocks in oil Add remaining ingredients except beans and simmer on low 15- 20 mins Add beans and simmer about 10 minutes Add water or beer as necessary to obtain desired consistency
