Almond Chicken in Apricot Sauce

1 cup apricot fruit spread
3 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
4 teaspoons cider vinegar
1 teaspoon ground mustard
6 chicken breast halves
12 cup sliced almonds
1 tablespoon melted butter


in a bowl, combine first 5 ingredients, dip chicken in apricot mixture. place in a 13x9 dish that is greased. sprinkle almonds over chicken drizzle with butter and bake at 350 degrees uncovered until juices run clear.
