1 1/2 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tbsp. melted butter
2 Large eggs, separated
3/4 c. stale beer
Combine flour, salt, melted butter, egg yolk and sale beer; beat only till smooth. Cover and let stand in cold place from 1 to 12 hrs. Just before using beat egg whites till stiff and fold gently into batter. Very good on mushroom, eggplant and other vegetables.
