Garlic Mushrooms on Toast

1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
3/4 pound mushrooms sliced
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon chives fresh snipped
4 slices whole wheat bread rustic, thick-sliced, toasted


Heat butter and olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium to medium-high heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook, stirring until tender, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute longer or until the garlic is fragrant. Add the sour cream and water, stirring until heated through. Serve on the toast and garnish with the chives.
