Homestyle Baked Lasagna Recipe

3/4 pound grnd beef
3/4 pound grnd pork
3/4 c. minced onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 c. water
2 (6 ounce. each) cans tomato paste
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 pound lasagna
4 c. cottage cheese (2 lb.)
2 c. shredded Mozzarella (8 ounce.)
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
4 Large eggs
1 tbsp. parsley flakes


Cook beef, pork, onion, and garlic till browned; stir in water, tomato paste, parsley, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 30 min. Cook lasagna and drain well. Mix together cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Large eggs, and parsley for filling. Pour 1/2 c. sauce over bottom of pan. Arrange in layers of filling mix, lasagna, and layer meat mix. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake till warm, covered, then let stand 10 min.
