Memorable Mocha Cake

3/4 cup butter or margarine
1-1/2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate (6 oz.)
2-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1-1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 cups brewed strong MAXWELL HOUSE Coffee, cooled Walgreens $6.99 thru 02/06
Coconut-Pecan Frosting


Heat oven to 350F. Grease and flour 13x9-inch pan. Microwave butter and chocolate in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add sugar to chocolate mixture; beat with mixer until blended. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Blend in vanilla. Add flour mixture alternately with coffee, mixing well after each addition. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 40 to 45 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Prepare Coconut-Pecan Frosting; spread onto cake.
