Gizzard Jerky

1 pack Gizzards
1 tsp Sake
1 tsp Sugar
2 tsp Soy sauce
1 dash Salt and pepper
1 Black pepper
1 Garlic powder


Slice the gizzards in half and cut away any white parts. Slice the gizzards up as thinly as possible. Add the gizzards and the seasoning ingredients into a plastic bag and rub the ingredients in. Leave the gizzards to marinate for 1-2 hours. Line a cooking dish with parchment paper and arrange the marinated gizzards on top so that they don't overlap. Roast the gizzards at 150C for 1 hour. Turn the gizzards over once during cooking. Check the flavour and top it up with salt and pepper if necessary. Then it's done (I usually add more salt and pepper at this step myself).
