Ingredients:

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest

Instruction:

In a small saucepan, bring the water and the sugar to a boil, stirring the mixture to dissolve the sugar. Add the lemon juice and zest to the sugar syrup and freeze in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturers instructions.
