L.O.'s Homemade Macaroni & Cheese

1 lb box Elbow Macaroni
1 lb block Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 lb block Mozerella Cheese
1/4 cup Butter or Margarine
1 pints Heavy Cream
2 large Eggs
2 tbsp Minced Garlic
1/2 tbsp Kosher Salt
1 1/2 cup Italian Style Bread Crumbs
6 cup Water


Preheat oven to 350. Bring water & Garlic to roling boil. Add Macaroni. Continue to boil until tender. Drain & rinse in cool water. Cut cheeses into 1" cubes, but keep separate. Using 2 Tbls Butter, lightly grease casserole dish. Place one layer of Cheddar Cheese on bottom. Add one layer of Macaroni on top of Cheddar cheese. Note: Cheddar should be slightly visible. Add layer of Mozzarella Cheese, then Macaroni, followed by another layer of Cheddar. Continue in this manner until Macaroni is gone. (you should have left over cheese) Top with remaining cheeses. Blend Heavy Cream and 2 Eggs. Pour evenly over Macaroni. Dollop remaining Butter on top. Bake for half an hour, and stir. Sprinkle Bread Crumbs evenly on top and continue baking for 45 minutes. Allow to rest 15 minutes before serving. For a tasty variation, cut the florets of 2 Broccoli Crowns into small pieces & add to each cheese layer. :-)
